BIFE Guidance Service

Bray Institute of Further Education provides a free Guidance Service to all registered students of the Insititute.
The Guidance Counsellor is available to discuss educational, training, occupational, personal, social and life choices with students.  Guidance Counselling encompasses the three separate, but interlinked areas of personal and social development, educational and career guidance.

BIFE Guidance Service: Educational & Career Guidance

The Guidance Counsellor is available for one-to-one appointments to discuss further Educational, Apprenticeship or Occupational options.  This can include (but is not limited to), CAO Applications (for applying to study at University in Ireland), UCAS Applications (for applying to study at University in the UK and Northern Ireland), other Study Abroad options, Grant Applications, Scholarship Applications, Job Hunting and Interview Preparation.  During the academic year, the guidance counsellors also run workshops for students to assist with making university applications.

BIFE Guidance Service: Wellbeing

In addition, the BIFE Guidance Service provides free wellbeing supports throughout the year to all students. One to One meetings are by appointment. If you require urgent assistance, please contact your G.P. or the Emergency Department at your local hospital.
