List of Materials Required for the Course

Pattern - if you are a beginner choose a simple pattern .. loads online.

Fabric - if you are a beginner don’t go for a project with stretch fabric or silk chiffon, it will break your heart and you will never come back.

Notions - as per your pattern – interfacing, zip etc.

Scissors,

Thread to match fabric and a contrast, Colour for tacking,

Tailor's chalk,

Measuring tape,

Ripper,

Straight pins,

Decent fabric scissors,

Cheap paper scissors,

Small selection of needles.

Roisin cross silks stepaside - high-end fabric (expensive but beautiful). Hickeys Carrickmines - haberdashery only but they do interfacing and some cottons
