Where are they now?

Meet BIFE students who have graduated from this course...

"I had great fun while I was studying at BIFE in the game development course. I have gained greater confidence in myself through the support of the teachers and the class environment. I am currently studying in the 2nd year of the Game Design course at Technological University Dublin. I got into the course through the advanced entry program within the University. BIFE helped me get into the course, as when I went for the interview I was able to show them the progression I made in the quality of the games and art I had built form both courses as well as the website from the level 6 course. Bife helped me reach this stage, by giving me a broad range of skills that I would need going on to further education or out in the job market. Some of the skills I learnt, such as Interactive Scripting has allowed me to have a higher level of coding than any of the other students in the course. Computer Illustration Graphics helped me progress my art to a new level allowing me to design intricate games." - Marcus Gleeson

"I am currently in Dublin Institute of Technology studying a BA Game Design. It is what I have always wanted to do. I didn't get the points in my Leaving Cert to gain direct entry.

So, I looked at my options and decided to go to Bray Institute of Further Education (BIFE) to study Game Design. I spent two years in BIFE studying Game Design. The two years I spent at BIFE gave me great insight to what the industry is like and it was a great stepping stone to furthering my education. The teachers in BIFE are all approachable and a great help. BIFE has taught me lessons that will help me through the rest of my education and career. " - James Bryan

"My overall experience of BIFE was great. The classes were very practical and the teachers were very approachable. I was accepted directly into the 4th year of a Computer Science degree in DIT that specialises in Game Development after completing the course at BIFE. Everything that I learnt in BIFE I am putting to use in the degree. The course in BIFE had a big emphasis on industry standard and now I find that to be the case. - Leigh O'Reilly
