This programme will provide students with a wide range of office, administrative and IT skills required to work in a modern office environment. As well as developing skills in the Office 365 software suite the course provides the learner with the skills provide Bookkeeping and Payroll services using Sage 50. On successful completion the student can avail of progression routes onto our Level 6 business or computing courses or alternatively may apply via the CAO onto an undergraduate degree programme in a range of third level institutions.

Entry Requirements

One of the following:

  • Leaving Certificate or its equivalent with minimum entry requirement Ordinary Level Maths
  • Leaving Certificate Applied with a merit profile
  • QQI Level 4 Certificate with merit profile Extenuating circumstances may be considered
  • Mature Applicants – experience will be considered in lieu of formal qualifications
