Description

If you want to be a soccer coach or improve your soccer skills, this course if for you.
It will offer you with a pathway to this leisure sector. It also offers the opportunity
to gain professional coaching qualifications for employment in Ireland and abroad
and in particular coaching in the USA. Strength and conditioning components
along with technical skill will be monitored closely as students progress throughout
the course. The syllabus will cover a broad range of theoretical and practical
components designed for the students to advance into higher education. Facilities
include a state of the art gym and a grass soccer pitch on campus. Students will
compete in the various Colleges/Universities cups and leagues throughout the
year.

Entry Requirements

• Leaving Certificate (minimum of five 06/H7’s or combination of five 06/ H7’s) or its equivalent. Extenuating circumstances may be considered
• Leaving Certificate Applied
• Full QQI Level 4 Award
• Mature Applicants – experience will be considered in lieu of formal qualifications

Places are offered following successful interview. Applicants will be requested to complete a personal statement for submission at interview.

Garda vetting is necessary prior to work experience placement.
